Our Process

How It All Works

There’s more to it than this (a lot more), but here’s the basics and the less techy bits for however we turn up!

We built two ways to bring the Figured You experience to you. First, our Mobile Studio (which has 80 cameras), which drives straight to your door, and our Portable Event Rig (which has 97 cameras), which sets up inside wherever the party’s happening. Same magic, same lifelike results just two different ways of getting there.

The Mobile Studio

for weddings, birthdays & private celebrations

Our van is a proper mobile scanning studio, custom-built, printed and wired by us, from the ground up. It’s the UK’s first of its kind, and it means we can bring the full scanning rig straight to your venue with no studio visit required.

  1. We arrive

    Our van rocks up at your venue and we get parked up, plugged in and ready to go, quietly, and with minimal fuss.

  2. We set up

    The scanning bay is assembled inside the van, cameras calibrated and lighting checked, so every guest gets a perfect scan. Within 10 minutes of arrival we will be ready to go! There’s not really any setup.

  3. We scan

    Step inside, strike a pose, and in under a second all 97 cameras capture you from every angle.

  4. Digital delivery

    Your full-colour digital 3D model lands in your inbox once processed, ready to share.

  5. We print

    Back at HQ, your model is checked, coloured and printed on our 3D printers with millimetre precision.

  6. We deliver

    Your finished figurine is carefully packaged and posted straight to your door, typically within 2–4 weeks.

The Portable Event Rig

for corporate events, expos & conventions

For conference floors, brand activations and trade show stands, we bring a stripped-down, fully portable version of our scanning studio — no van required indoors, just us, our rig, and a three-pin plug.

  1. We set up

    Our team builds the scanning station on-site, wherever works for your event layout, no special power or space needed beyond a standard socket. Everything can fit through a standard household doorway so we can fit anywhere!

  2. We scan

    Guests step into the rig for a split-second, full-body capture from every angle. Quick, safe, and genuinely eye-catching, which tends to draw a crowd all on its own.

  3. Digital delivery

    Each guest’s full-colour digital model arrives by email once processed, ready to post and share on the spot.

  4. We print

    Selected models are sent back to HQ, where they’re printed in full colour on our 3D printers.

  5. We deliver

    Finished figurines are packaged securely and posted out, a keepsake (and a talking point) that ends up on someone’s desk for months.
